The manager of the RC Toulonnais has dismissed rumours recurrent about a possible collaboration with the staff of the France team.
While many coaches in the Top 14 have announced their refusal to lend a hand to Jacques Brunel, the new coach of the XV of France, Fabien Galthié has denied the intentions attributed to him, returning the media to the contract that binds him to Toulon.
“I démens everything that has been written. When writing anything it is necessary to pay attention, it is necessary to respect a little the people, the personalities and institutions… I am the coach of Toulon, I have to be accountable to Toulon. The institution I work for it is Toulon, I have a president to whom I am accountable, it is all”, recalled the coach of the var.
“Jacques Brunel has been named coach of the France team, this is concrete. What do you want me to tell you ? I said that I had contact with him for other reasons, on other subjects more serious… The trade that I have on different topics remain between the president and myself. If we must communicate, we communicate, but there, there is nothing to communicate… When there are information that come out like that, I have nothing to say except to deny them.”, he insisted.
