From Dubai, Rory McIlroy has given an interview to the Irish Independent in which he reveals that a virus in the heart has been concerned these last few months. The four-time winner of a major is yet ready for the 2018 season that he will start next week in Abu Dhabi.

After a break unprecedented career of four months in the fall of last year, Rory McIlroy has quickly regained the path of the practices this winter.
The 11th world, touched by an old rib injury a year ago, has just revealed that another health problem is it occupies the mind for a few months.
“I caught a virus about 18 months ago, in China, has revealed the British to the Irish Independent, , and my heart rate has irregularities, surely because of it. Now I have to undergo checks every six months and a scan every year. This virus is very violent I was left as a scar on the left ventricle. In this long interview this week during his training camp to Dubai, McIlroy has also reaffirmed its ambitions, after a year marked by his marriage, and a counter to victory remained stuck at zero of both sides of the Atlantic.

7 McIlroy will make his comeback to the game next Thursday in Abu Dhabi, a tournament where he has already completed seven times in the top 5, without a win for the moment.
