A climate of suspicion is installed within Manchester United, after management ordered the opening of a formal investigation into the fact that Ruben Amorim’s technical options are being repeatedly made public.
The accusations have intensified, especially on social media, where Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo are being identified as the most likely culprits for the ‘leak’ of the Red Devils’ starting eleven, a phenomenon that was repeated last weekend, almost 24 hours before the derby against Manchester City.
Accusations that, according to this Wednesday’s edition of the British newspaper Daily Mailwill be leaving both players “furious”, to the point that they have made a point of guaranteeing, with the management, that they have nothing to do with this phenomenon.
The Argentine and Ivorian internationals even asked to speak publicly about the case, after the European triumph achieved in the visit to Viktoria Plzen, before being persuaded to remain silent.
Manchester United’s directors believe, in fact, the attackers’ version, not least because they do not forget that cases like these have been common practice for many years, including during José Mourinho’s ‘reign’, between 2016 and 2018.
