2. Bundesliga – HSV gambles everything – Heidenheim demands Werder in relegation – sport

Hamburger SV lose at home to Sandhausen, although Heidenheim fails in Bielefeld. Karlsruher SC saves itself, Nuremberg has to be relegated.

Arminia Bielefeld – 1. FC Heidenheim 3: 0 (2:0) Goals: Keindienst (14th, own goal), Voglsammer (17th), Clauss (53th)

The game started optimally – from the perspective of Hamburger SV. After only 17 minutes, the second division champion from Bielefeld led 2-0. Arminia’s top scorer Fabian Klos headed for a corner on the goal, Heidenheim’s Tim Kleindienst deflected into his own net (14th). Shortly thereafter, Andreas Voglsammer scored a dream goal (17th). He dribbled parallel to the sixteen and darted into the far corner. Bielefeld sparkled with enthusiasm for play, even though it was actually nothing more for the East Westphalia. Heidenheim obviously got nervous. Shortly after the break, Jonathan Clauss then scored the deciding 3-0. The biggest advantage of the Frank Schmidt team? The competitor for the relegation place was HSV.

Hamburger SV – SV Sandhausen 1: 5 (0: 2) Goals: van Drongelen (13th, own goal), Behrens (22nd), Hunt (62nd, penalty), Behrens (83rd, penalty), Engels (89th), Diekmeier (93rd)

What else can you say about HSV? Everything went well for the Hamburgers, but not themselves. The sober facts: In the 13th minute, HSV defenseman Rick van Drongelen and Sandhausener Kevin Behrens went to the ball after a cross – and the Hamburg player deflected the ball into his own goal. Nine minutes later, Behrens ran very alone towards goalkeeper Julian Pollersbeck – and sank to 0: 2. In the 40th minute, Behrens should have made the 0: 3 free-standing again. Van Drongelen also injured his knee and had to leave the field supported.

At half-time, the team must have learned the Heidenheim standings – and that two goals would still be enough. After the video referee recognized a foul on Bakery Jatta in the penalty area, Aaron Hunt finally hit with a violent shot from eleven meters. A few minutes of hope followed – until the only 19-year-old Josha Vagnoman was too late in the penalty area. Behrens sealed another Hamburg second league year with a shot in the middle of the goal in the 83rd minute. The 1-4 from Engels and the 1-5 from Diekmeier will only be relevant in the statistics.

Holstein Kiel – 1. FC Nuremberg 1-1 (0-1) He gave wrong: (3.) Lauberbach (67.)

Nuremberg fans know two things: their club is a fool and the abyss is where the FCN is. Before the match day everything was ready for a veritable drama. And then? 1. FC Nürnberg takes the lead early because Patrick Erras showed his enormous bounce in a header. Although the Franks became a bit more passive afterwards, they were also unlucky that Johannes Geis only hit the bar before the break.

It was Lion Lauberbach who pushed Nuremberg to the abyss. He headed the 1-1: and because the KSC turned the game in Führ, the club now has to fight in the relegation.

Greuther Fuerth – Karlsruher SC 1: 2 (1: 1) Gates: Keita-Ruel (2nd), Kother (21st), Hofmann (61st, Eleven meters)

The starting position was clear for the KSC: They don’t have it in their own hands and had to hope for Kiel. And the hope came true. Dominik Kother equalized the very early Fürth lead by Daniel Keita-Ruel after twenty minutes. In the second half, a penalty from Philipp Hofmann led to victory – and to the direct remaining in the class. The KSC has been spared the fourth relegation in the recent past.
