Ethan Laird will be Manchester United’s newest youth star promoted to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first team.

At just 18, the right-back followed in the footsteps of James Garner, Angel Gomes and Teden Mengi when he graduated from the academy.

The young starlet impressed Neil Woods U23 national team after returning from an injury earlier in the season.

The Norwegian manager is committed to the development of his children, as Mason Greenwood, Brandon Williams and Marcus Rashford see.

The trio recently met in extra time on Carrow Road in the United FA Cup 2-1 win over Norwich City on Saturday.
