British tactician Frank Lampard was officially appointed as Chelsea coach on 4 July 2019.
The former Chelsea player and captain replaced Maurizio Sarri who decided to join Juventus.
Not having a year to train Chelsea, Frank Lampard is considered capable of bringing his team to play quite impressive.
Since being appointed as coach, Lampard won 24 wins, eight draws and 13 defeats in 45 matches in various events.
These results make the club based at Stamford Bridge Stadium creep up to fourth place in the English League standings with 54 points.
Also under Lampard’s care, Chelsea have not once felt defeat in the last six matches across competitions.
Starting to show consistent performances with Chelsea made Arsenal’s legendary captain Tony Adams praise the quality of Frank Lampard as a coach.
In fact, the captain who managed to bring 12 titles for Arsenal said Lampard was the right person to handle the Blues.
“I think Lampard has a great first season, there hasn’t even been a season coaching Chelsea,” Adams said.
