Drammene (Norway), June 28, LETA. On Sunday, the midfielder of the Latvian national football team Jānis Ikaunieks went to the substitution in the Norwegian top league and with an active performance helped Drammen’s “Stromsgodset” team to win one point.
The Drammen footballers fought a draw 1: 1 (0: 1) with the Alesund team in the fourth round at home.
Thanks to the goal scored by Sigurd Haugen, the guests won the first half with 1: 0. Ikaunieks joined the game in the second half, when in the 63rd minute came the substitution.

Ikaunieks scored in all three test games before the delayed start of the season.
Meanwhile, Zlin’s “Fastav”, represented by Jānis Ikaunieks’ brother Dāvis, on Sunday ensured staying in the Czech top league for the next season as well.
“Fastav” in the weakest group of the second stage in the away game with 1: 4 (1: 1) acknowledged the superiority of “Teplice”, but also the “Karvina” footballers, who could send the Zlín team to the playoffs in the last rounds, did not score.
The beauty has not participated in the last seven “Fastav” games due to an injury.
Two matches before the end of the season, “Fastav” with 33 points in 33 games in the lagging group takes the third place in the six-team competition. In the last two rounds of “Karvina”, the Zlín team can be reached, but in case of equal points, the distribution of places is determined by the first stage or the main tournament, in which Ikaunieks’ team had one more point than the competitors.
It has already been reported that the Czech champion Slavia footballers secured the title of Czech champion this weekend.
Meanwhile, out of four Latvian footballers in Switzerland, only goalkeeper Andris Vanins was again the only one in the application. “Zurich” with a Latvian reserve on Sunday beat “Lugano” at home with 1: 0 (0: 0).
Daniels Ontužāns, whose team played “Thun” 3: 2 (3: 0) at home, was still not in the “St. Gallen” application. Also, there was no striker Robert Uldrikis in the list of participants of the game, whose “Sion” guests with 0: 2 (0: 0) admitted the superiority of “Basel”.
On Saturday, the application did not include the Xamax of Neuchâtel, represented by the injured defender Marc Osh, who capitulated Bern’s “Young Boys” with the guests 0: 6 (0: 4).
