Dana White gives you a look behind the scenes of the UFC infrastructure “Fight Island” (video)

We’re a little less than two weeks away from UFC 251: “Usman vs. Burns, the first Fight Island event to take place on July 11, 2020 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Shortly after the dust has cleared from this pay-per-view card (PPV), which will host three title fights, the event will resume with events on July 15, July 18, and then July 25.

And while some combat fans were likely expecting (or even hoping to) setting up an octagon on the beach (something like that), it’s a bit more complex. In fact, the funding has spared no expense for the infrastructure that will deliver the tremendous accomplishment amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

UFC President Dana White recently posted several videos on social media that give fans a glimpse of all the manpower, material, and money it took to take over an island for a full month of fighting.

The campaign recently released strict security protocols and guidelines for all fighters, personnel, camps and even the media that must be followed on the island to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

Once the last event is complete, the promotion will return to Las Vegas for another full list of events, starting with the fight night card titled “Holm vs. Aldana ”on August 1, 2020. But just in case we experience more. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions around the world, the campaign could take another trip to“ Fight Island ”later in the year.
