Hockey all day: NHL publishes the schedule for the qualification with starting times of 10 hours

The NHL has released further details on the restart schedule. Each team plays an exhibition game before starting the qualifying round and seeding game in Toronto and Edmonton.

On the first day of the exhibition game, two purely Canadian matchups are included. The Maple Leafs will meet the Montreal Canadiens in Toronto and the Oilers the Calgary Flames in Edmonton on July 28th.

The first exhibition game shows the Pittsburgh Penguins against the Philadelphia Flyers on July 28th in Toronto.

All games of the Eastern Conference take place in Toronto, the Western Conference in Edmonton.

The Vancouver Canucks will meet the Winnipeg Jets in Edmonton on July 29 as part of an exhibition day with six games.

Three more exhibition games will complete the schedule on July 30th.

The best-of-five qualifying round begins on August 1 with five games, including Winnipeg against Calgary, Montreal against the Pittsburgh Penguins and Edmonton against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The schedule begins in Toronto with the New York Rangers versus the Carolina Hurricanes around noon local time.

The start times of the game range from 12 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. (CET), with planning being staggered.
