Kevin Love pays tribute to “Brother” Russell Westbrook after both players have entered the Hall of Fame

Two NBA stars who go back to the past are Cleveland Cavaliers ‘great man, Kevin Love and Houston Rockets’ guard Russell Westbrook.

In fact, the two played together at the University of California in Los Angeles.

That’s why it wasn’t a surprise when Love turned to social media to congratulate Westbrook for being inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame. Love was also included in the school’s Hall of Fame class in 2020.

After starring in UCLA, Westbrook and Love were both selected for the 2008 NBA Draft.

Westbrook was drawn up by the then Seattle Supersonics with choice no. 4 ever. Love was taken immediately after by the Memphis Grizzlies with choice no. 5.

Since then, both players have continued to do great things in the NBA.

Love played an important role in helping the Cavs win the 2016 NBA finals. Westbrook was named NBA MVP 2017.

At the moment, Love definitely has Westbrook in her thoughts. The star guard recently revealed that he tested positive for the new coronavirus.

Hopefully, Love’s sincere message will help Westbrook stay strong and positive as she fights highly contagious disease.
