Manchester United ensure tickets to the Champions League next season. For the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he does not want to play in the Champions League.

Manchester United finished third in the English League table. For these results, then Bruno Fernandes et al got a share of playing in the upcoming Champions League season 2020/2021.

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskajer admitted that his team would go all out appearing in the Champions League. The Red Devils do not want to just ride through in the most prestigious competition in the European continent.

“The match in the Champions League is a big match. We have to lose the best team for each match that takes place in the middle of the week,” explained Solskjaer as reported by Daily Star.

Solskjaer added, only the best players will be deployed in each Champions League match. Team performance must be improved.

“The Champions League is not like the Europa League where we can play young players, rest the main squad and try new tactics,” he stressed.

“The players who appear later will have to be fit and strong. Indeed there are financial benefits to appearing in the Champions League, but I don’t think about that,” he added.

Finally, Solskjaer alluded to spending players. Manchester United itself is indeed expected to recruit several players such as Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and also several defenders to accompany Harry Maguire.

“The club knows what we need, so we will try to get it. We’ll see,” he concluded.
