Manchester United goal Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund’s new shirt launch omitted

Manchester United goal Jadon Sancho was a notable absentee at Borussia Dortmund’s new kit launch promotion.

The German giants officially confirmed their new stripe for the 2020/21 season in a video on social media on Wednesday morning – a striking yellow number with black, bolt-shaped stripes.

The campaign material shows several Dortmund stars, including striker Erling Haaland, midfielder Axel Witsel and club captain Marco Reus.

English winger Sancho is absent, however, and it remains to be seen whether he will still be at the club early next season to wear the shirt.

Along with Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, Sancho remains one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top signings in this summer’s transfer window.

Dortmund has already lost one of its key players from this season. Moroccan full-back Achraf Hakimi returned to Real Madrid at the end of his loan period before moving to Inter Milan this summer.
