BOLASPORT.COM – The young Indonesian striker, Bagus Kahfi, officially joined the Dutch club, FC Utrecht on Friday (30/10/2020) based on a statement from manager Barito Putera.
This news was confirmed directly by Barito Putera’s manager, Mundari Karya, as reported by BolaSport.com from the Banjarmasin Post.
“In accordance with Abah’s message (the late H Sulaiman HB, founder and owner of Barito Putera) Barito Putera must create star players and give up career players in any club for the future of his football,” said Mundari Karya as quoted by BolaSport.com from the Banjarmasin Post.
Mundari admitted that FC Utrecht had been in negotiations since 1 month ago to recruit Bagas Kaffa’s twin.
“The discussion since one month ago is that I represent the management of Barito Putera. Then there are representatives from Garuda Select and the FC Utrecht club,” he said.

Furthermore, Barito has released an outgoing letter for Bagus Kahfi to join FC Utrecht.
“We are actually trying to keep Bagus but the players and the club also want the opposite so we can’t force Bagus to stay in the team. Finally, the management agreed to that wish,” said Mundari.
“It has been processing for a long time but I am sure the letter may have come out,” he added.
