French Open – Roland Garros: US Open winner Siegemund with a successful start in doubles

Paris (SID) – After her sensational Grand Slam title in New York, Laura Siegemund and her double partner Wera Swonarewa also got off to a good start at the French Open. The 32-year-old from Metzingen and the Russian won their first round match in Paris on Wednesday against the French women Alize Cornet / Pauline Parmentier 6: 4, 6: 2.
