“I was the best option in all the teams I played”

While Kyrie Irving was instrumental in the 2016 Finals in the first title in history for the Cleveland Cavaliers, the now Brooklyn Nets player has gone one step further and acknowledged that he always thought that “it was the best option for his teams ”, Reports the media SLAM.

“It’s one thing I’ve always felt comfortable with, you know? I feel like I was always the best option on all the teams I played, ”Irving said. “But this is the first time in my career that I can look down and be like that son of a bitch who can make that last pitch,” he added.

Confidence in abundance from an Irving who shared a dressing room with four-time MVP, LeBron James; also in Boston Celtics with great players like Gordon Hayward, Al Horford, Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown; and now in Brooklyn Nets where he is expected to form a great tandem with Kevin Durant, both recovered from their physical problems for the next 2020-21 course.

Trained at Duke University and selected No. 1 in the 2011 Draft by the aforementioned Cavs, Irving has played a total of 528 official games with career averages of 22.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 robberies in 33.8 minutes.

And among his accolades are the NBA champion ring in 2016 after beating Golden State Warriors 4-3; six times selected to contest the All-Star Game; Second Best NBA Team (2019); Third Best NBA Team (2015) and Rookie of the Year (2012).
