UNITED STATES – After multiple Covid-19 cases that have rocked the NFL, its star, Patrick Mahomes, revealed he and his pregnant fiancee, Brittany, are now sleeping in separate beds.
This Wednesday, it was revealed that Stephon Gilmore, cornerback for the New England Patriots tested positive for coronavirus and was Mahomes’ rival just last Monday.
“It’s something that I think about every day. You have to think about that with the fact that she is pregnant and that category of high risk,” said the figure of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Mahomes and Brittany announced their pregnancy just last month.
“When I came home for the weekend, I slept in a different bedroom and stayed away from her as much as I could.”
Mahomes said he lowered those restrictions once his Covid-19 tests came back negative, but stressed that the health of his fiancée and the baby are always in mind.
“I just try to do my part to stay away from her and from social distance whenever things like this come up,” closed the Super Bowl LIV champion.
