The allegations against Alexander Zverev are bad. The German tennis star is said to have done psychological and physical violence to his ex-girlfriend Olga Scharypowa. The Russian, who lives as a photographer in New York, made serious allegations against the world number seven for the first time last week.
How Zverev wanted to choke her with a pillow, how he hit her head against the wall, how he hit her face at the Laver Cup in Geneva – Scharypova’s suffering seems endless during this time. So endless that it comes to the point of attempting suicide.
‘We had another argument. That quarrel in which he hit me in the face for the first time, ”Sharypova told Racquet Magazine. “He pushed me, turned my arms, or choked me beforehand. But that’s when he hit me for the first time. When he walked out of the room because … It’s really difficult to talk about because it was really hell (…). I want to say that now and then forget. After this argument he left the room and I died. I died emotionally. “
“He didn’t want to let me go”
Sharypova continues: “I no longer understood anything about my life. I didn’t understand why I had to deal with it. And why he didn’t leave me. Why this kept happening. I thought I could no longer live like this. I knew I couldn’t be with this person anymore. But he couldn’t leave me. I knew he wouldn’t let me go. “
She tries to take her own life with insulin injections, but as she herself says, prevents it even by taking glucose tablets. It is the climax in a story of suffering. Zverev has not commented on the allegations since last week, although new ones come to light almost every day. (red)
