Geelong star Gary Rohan separates from Ms. Aime

Gary Rohan and his wife Aime reportedly broke up after weeks of speculation about the couple’s relationship.

The Herald Sun reported the couple split on Friday night, less than eight months after the birth of their daughter Sadie Rose in March.

Rumors of the couple’s troubles intensified after Aime stayed at their family home on the Bellarine Coast near Geelong with daughters Bella and Sadie Rose while Rohan took the cats to their Gold Coast hub.

Many of the player’s partners and children had joined the Geelong roster at the Gold Coast hubs in August, with Aime’s absence raising eyebrows.

Rohan was reportedly at the center of a “cat fight” with Tom Hawkins. The Herald Sun alleged his Geelong teammate confronted the 29-year-old about his behavior while at the Hub on the Gold Coast.

Amie – herself an Instagram influencer – further fueled rumors this week with a cryptic social media post to her following of more than 35,000 people.

“Please be strong in who you are and do not let someone else’s actions convince you that you are not good enough for who you are,” she wrote.

Despite a tumultuous time for Rohan off the field, the forward helped the Cats advance to the grand final where they were defeated by Richmond.

Couple of tragically lost twin daughter Willow

Rohan and Aime’s third daughter came after the couple’s heartbreak with twins Bella and Willow, the latter of whom tragically died a few hours after giving birth.

The couple bravely shared their journey to give birth in 2018 after learning that Willow suffered an incurable neural defect known as anencephaly that passed away five hours after she was born.

Gary and Aime were commended for their IPO bravery with the reveal of Willow’s birth in 2018.

The couple learned that Willow would not survive the pregnancy in just 11 weeks, a harrowing revelation.

Their twins were born on April 12, 2018, and Amie spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about her decision to move on with the pregnancy despite the heartbreaking diagnosis.

We sat down and said, ‘This trip was written for us. Let’s move on, ”she told the magazine.

“We had about five hours with Willow before she died.

“In those five hours I learned so much about life and how valuable it is.

“Although her time here was fleeting, she was a very amazing girl.”
