Monchengladbach’s Borussia defeated Donetsk’s Shahtar at home in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, while Manchester City beat Piraeus’ Olympiakos.

Already in the 17th minute, Lars Stindl scored an 11-meter penalty kick. After 34 minutes, Niko Elvedi scored from the penalty spot. Brele Embolo increased the lead in the first half of the half. Oskars Vents scored the fourth goal in the 77th minute.

The final this season will be held on May 26 in Gdańsk, where the title match was supposed to take place last season, but due to the spread of Covid-19, it was moved to Cologne. In 2022, the final is scheduled for Seville, and in 2023 – in Budapest.
