As planned, members of the CABB-AdC Liaison Board and the Players Association met virtually this Tuesday to discuss the issues corresponding to the beginning of the seasons of three competitions: the Argentine League, the Federal Tournament and the Women’s League.
Both parties agreed on the need to move towards the dispute of the tournaments, as soon as possible and in the safest way possible, listening to all parties, including clubs and players.
The conclusions were as follows:
-Work on a tentative competition calendar beginning at the end of January / beginning of February 2021 for the Argentine League and for February in the case of the Federal and the Women’s League, depending on the permits granted by the national government.
-Work on the preparation of the corresponding sanitary protocols for the three categories, in order to obtain state permits.
-Work with the clubs of each category to evaluate the specific possibilities of the participants and forms of dispute, among other important issues, some of which will depend on the authorizations of the ministries, such as whether it will be possible to travel or if the season in mini-bubble format.
