Big 10 and Pac-12 Conference cancel the 2020 season

The Big 10 and Pac-12 Conference have canceled their college sports seasons until the end of 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. So there is no college football. However, three more Power 5 Conference want to play.

The Big 10 Conference was the first to cancel its fall college season, followed a little later by the Pac-12. Both stated that they might be aiming for a spring season.

The ACC and SEC, in turn, are sticking to their plans for a fall season of college football. In separate statements they made it clear that there were no changes in the planning. College Football will therefore take place in at least three of the Power 5 Conferences according to the current status.
