“I’ll be ready for Christmas Day,” James told journalists on Thursday. “I’ve never missed a Christmas Day game and I won’t do that tomorrow either.” The superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers and his team will meet the Dallas Mavericks around Luka Doncic and Maxi Kleber on Saturday night (2 a.m. CET).
James’ ankle twisted when the defending champions lost to city rivals Clippers at the start of the season. After that he was not used in the last eight minutes at 109: 116 and remained at 22 points and five assists.
