Liverpool “shouldn’t have worries about Sadio Mane but Thiago Alcantara worries”

Liverpool conveniently sent wolves on Sunday night. Was that a statement in your eyes?

It was a massive statement. For the second home game in a row, a team that has shown they are capable of pissing off the big boys on their own grounds entered Anfield in hopes of ending our home record.

Just to get back on the bus a few hours later, he was at the wrong end of a Reds masterclass.

Fabinho was my man of the game – the Brazilian is full of class and looks like he’s been a center-back his entire career.

It was also a statement from Amazon Prime on how to air a soccer game. Other broadcasters and a particularly miserable commentator should take note!

Trent Alexander-Arnold returned with an excellent cross from the own goal. How much will that help Liverpool move forward?

We need as many of our best players as possible. And Trent has been an integral part of the success we’ve had over the years.

He is one of many Liverpoolers who scare the opposition. Having him back is a huge boost and hopefully he can stay fit.

Thiago Alcantara will be on the road for a few more weeks. Concerned?

Yes I am. He hasn’t been seen since Richarlison attacked him almost two months ago.

The club are usually open to player progress when they come back from injury so the silence is a concern.

No goal in seven games for Sadio Mane. Should Liverpool even be worried about him?

Not at all. His performance is still quality and he is leading from the front. Its speed of operation is still phenomenal. His strength is ridiculous. The goals will return.

Given the alleged rivalry between him and Mohamed Salah, Nelson Semedo may have done both of them a favor by getting our fourth goal on Sunday!

In Caoimhin Kelleher, Neco Williams and Curtis Jones, teenagers have been an issue in Liverpool’s game lately. How satisfied have you been with your demonstrations lately?

They all went up and were a credit. You must also mention Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips.

It was a big call to include Kelleher, but one that was confirmed. He looked confident and confident. He has the trust of the Back Four, which Adrian unfortunately lost.

Neco did well after the early yellow card. As for Curtis, I think his days as a “promising youth” are behind him. He’s the real deal.

Looking ahead to the Champions League knockout stage, Liverpool are among the favorites to win the competition and should that be the priority over the league?

I’m glad you didn’t ask me to predict the starting line-up against Midtjylland! I love the European Cup and of course we’re in the mix.

But the thought of keeping this title in front of our fans and leveling it with a certain other club means that the league will beat it this year.

Gini Wijnaldum doesn’t seem to be getting any closer to signing a new contract. How much loss would it be if Liverpool let him go free?

Gini has been a constant and calming presence in what has been a turbulent season so far.

Only he and the people in the club really know what’s going on, but I hope their differences can be resolved. It would be a great loss.

Any other business?

It was great to see the fans back in Anfield. It made a huge difference. Klopp was the happiest in a while. Even happier than his Spitting Image doll!

Looking at the season so far, everything about the mentality of this manager and squad says that we have taken all the injury setbacks and ridiculous VAR heists and are still doing top-notch performances.

This season has been brutal and the worst is yet to come, but anyone hoping to wrest the title from Anfield is in a hell of a fight. Liverpool are still the team to beat.
