Manchester United will reward Bruno Fernandes with a new double-your-money contract worth £ 200,000 per week.
Fernandes, 26, has been United’s foremost player since arriving from Sporting Lisbon in January for £ 47million.
He’s scored 22 goals and made 14 assists for the Red Devils in just 37 games – and his brilliant performances at Old Trafford have put Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona on alert.
Fernandes is only eleven months on a four and a half year deal he signed when he moved to Manchester.
And the agreement has the option for a further 12 months.
But United want to keep the Portuguese international happy as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to build a team that has now gone seven years without the Premier League title.

Fernandes is currently making £ 100,000 a week – but that’s well below the club’s top earners.
David De Gea makes £ 350,000 a week and Paul Pogba makes £ 300,000 a week.
Fernandes’ salary is on par with Jesse Lingard and Dean Henderson, the # 2 keeper.
United would like to give him a raise that reflects his worth to the club.
Fernandes was named Fan Player of the Year last season despite arriving in the middle of the season.
He’s keen to expand a trophy collection that currently includes a Portuguese cup medal and two Portuguese league cups.
The Porto-born midfielder has not slowly cursed his teammates when they are not performing.
And his influence in the locker room is a major factor in United’s determination to give him a salary that reflects his status.
Fernandes has scored seven goals and collected three assists in just nine Premier League games this season.
He was a mainstay in the No. 10 and also shone in European competition with three goals and an assist in the Champions League.
