The Heat abandon the James Harden track

After the Nets and the Sixers, it’s the Heat’s turn to end discussions with the Rockets. Since James Harden is determined to join a title contender, Pat Riley had inquired about Houston’s demands, and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that the 2020 finalists have finally decided to drop that trail.

However, Miami had everything to satisfy the Rockets with a rich workforce and some young talent, but Houston also wants future first rounds of Draft, and the Heat has no first round before… 2027! According to ESPN, this is why the talks have never been far away.

Now, if James Harden really wants to leave Houston, he will have to hope that the Bucks, the Celtics or the Raptors appear in the East, or for example that the Nuggets and Mavericks in the West. As it stands, it seems unlikely, and the 2018 MVP could therefore remain at the Rockets. Despite him.
