Bayer Leverkusen has won the top match against Borussia Dortmund. 17-year-old Florian Wirtz decided the game ten minutes before the end after a carelessness by Thomas Meunier. Leverkusen follows 4 points behind leader Bayern Munich.

For Leverkusen trainer Peter Bosz, the duel against Borussia Dortmund was one against his ex-employer. The Dutchman saw his team take the lead after fifteen minutes of play. Leon Bailey found Moussia Diaby and he did not let the 1-0 down.

The equalizer only came in the second half thanks to Julian Brandt. It didn’t work out for Dortmund, because ten minutes later 17-year-old “Bosz babe” Florian Wirtz decided the game after a quick counter.

Thomas Meunier was at the base of the goal against a mistake, the assist was again from Bailey.

A new equalizer was no longer possible for the visitors. Borussia Dortmund is thus behind with 1 in 6 and it sees Leverkusen jump to second place at four points from leader Bayer Munich.
