A dislocated fracture in the ankle left Dak Prescott off the grid on October 11. Once the image of sensitive content was exposed in the broadcast cameras, a bitter period began in the corridors of the AT&T Stadium, which was aggravated in Week 17 with a loss to the New York Giants when they were officially out of the playoffs.
Within days of the injury, Prescott had already undergone surgery. Jerry and Stephen Jones pointed out that the quarterback would have nothing to worry about, the long-term deal will eventually come for him: “This is Dak’s football team”Stephen commented on January 4, a day after the season ended.
With the pressure of the contract dismissed after starting the season under the franchise tag, which, in turn, demonstrated Prescott’s support for the team, the quarterback’s focus shifted to his penalty process.
“Based on the work he’s done, what they (the Cowboys) believe is that he’ll come back better than ever.”reported Ian Rapoport, from NFL Network. And he added that to do this, Prescott has been working on a HydroWorx pool, which allows him to work on his body without putting pressure on his injured ankle.
According to the Rapoport report, he has also been running on an antigravity treadmill, a machine designed by NASA, and adopted by the sports guild (physical therapy), to work with a reduction in body weight.
With Prescott behind center in 2020, the Cowboys won two of five games. The fifth-year quarterback had a burst of production with Dallas, averaging 371.2 passing yards per game, as a consequence of the club’s poor defensive performance that forced the attack to constantly generate points and fast.
Once the Mississippi State graduate returns, a few things will have changed. In the first instance, the Cowboys are expected to play their usual offensive line by 2021: La’El Collins did not participate the entire season, and Tyron Smith and Zack Martin were both injured. Also, on the offensive side, Mike Nolan and Jim Tomsula are gone.

For the next college draft, unless there are trades or alterations by the end of April, the Cowboys will have six total picks.
They will be the 10th club to go to the clock, and they will also choose in the second (44) and third rounds (75).
