Michel unveils the clip “Nekete” 100% made in Condé

The phenomenon Michel is back... with a new super well done clip ! At the beginning of January, he was the guest of Pascal Cefran in Mouv’Rap Club, where we could hear him express himself on his very original universe, his electro influences and so on.. In son clip Nekete, he takes us to his native north of France and more particularly to the city of Condé.

Don’t be condescending to Condé City

In a video that has everything of a short–footage, we find Michel surrounded by his band : a handful of children and young adults, who have children only appearance. Indeed, their determined gaze and tattoos Nekete and 59163 (the postal code of the city of Condé) in the face make them look much bigger. It is therefore in an atmosphere His Majesty of the Flies (or The children of Timpelbach according to your generation) that we follow these children to settle injustices with baseball bats and car scratches to the key.

The ultra neat production and the original story line are carried by Michel’s deep house sounds and his deep and heady voice. An offbeat and formidably effective clip which represents an excellent teasing for Michel’s eponymous album, Nekete, which will be released on June 4, 2021. And for those wondering what this famous expression means, the rapper from the north has cracked an explanatory Instagram post:
