NFL: Tom Brady is in the conference finals for the 14th time

In the duel of the quarterback superstars, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New Orleans Saints for Drew Brees. With the 30:20 (13:13) the Bucs are in the conference final of the NFC, the semifinals of the NFL.

Brady is in a conference final for the 14th time, for the Bucs it is only the fourth.

The 43-year-old Brady scored one touchdown himself and threw two more. For the 42-year-old Saints quarterback Drew Brees, however, the season is over – and according to information from some US journalists, so is his career. With three interceptions, Brees had some part in the defeat and never really got into the game.

“The ball losses played a major role. We lost a lot of the ball last time, this time they lost them. It’s usually the story of a football game, ”Brady told Fox TV. The Buccaneers had lost to the Saints in both regular season games.

“We worked hard for it. Two away playoff wins, that’s pretty good, ”Brady said. The Bucs had previously won against the Washington Football Team.

The Buccaneers will compete against 38-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers for a place in the Super Bowl next Monday (0.40 a.m., Stream: DAZN). In the AFC final, defending champions Kansas City Chiefs will face the Buffalo Bills. The Super Bowl takes place in Tampa on February 7th.
