The same eleven as in Angers with Mauro Icardi in place of Moise Kean. PSG evolved into 4-2-3-1 this Friday at home with its fantastic four in attack – Mbappé, Neymar, Icardi, Di Maria – during the Parisians’ large victory against Montpellier (4-0).
Navas : 5. No shot on target for Montpellier and no stoppage to be made in the first period. Wounded in the ribs, he gives way to Rico (46e, note : 5) who was not much more worried.
Florenzi: 7. The Italian right-back played in a chair, which allowed him to adjust some good crosses, including the one converted by Icardi after the break. But he sometimes lost sight of it.
Marquinhos: 6. A quiet evening for the Parisian captain. He cut a few lines and won the rare duels he had to play. Left with an injury in the 52nd and replaced by Kehrer.
Diallo: 6. For him too, it was not the most difficult game to play. He managed his defensive interventions well. Too bad he missed a header on a well-handled offensive action.
Kurzawa: 6. The left-back exploited the corridor opened by the axial replacements of Mbappé. He combined well and offered some good balls to Di Maria in particular. He even found Bertaud’s bar on a superb upturned chisel. Replaced by Bakker (75th).

Walls: 6. Holder for the third time in a row, he is establishing himself as Verratti’s complement. He agreed with Pochettino by offering a bright opening that resulted in Omlin’s expulsion. A match without pressure, and without flight, where he played his hand. Replaced by Danilo (76th).
Verratti: 6. We did not really recognize the environment inspired in the first period where it lacked influence on the Parisian game. Much more enterprising after the break with in particular the opening which brought the second Parisian goal.
Di Maria: 6.5. Two superb openings in quick succession, including the one that brought Mbappé’s first goal. Also accurate in small spaces. The Argentine did not save himself with a lot of defensive replacements, which caused him to lack efficiency in his attempts against goal.
Neymar: 7. Very good Neymar with caviar in the area and a goal at the reception of a good cross behind Mbappé. At least also when the Brazilian insists on carrying the ball too much. The Parisian playmaker was snatched balloons in the feet which is rare. But overall it was a successful match with a lot of balls played.
Mbappé: 8. The tricolor international has regained his effectiveness by scoring twice after four games of famine, offering an assist for Neymar and causing the expulsion of Omlin a few minutes earlier. His sharp calls in the back of the Hérault defense caused great damage.
Icardi: 6. Scorer against Brest and OM, the Argentinian did it again against Montpellier. He failed several times to cut good crosses from his partners in the first half, but he continued his efforts to finally find the opening. Replaced by Sarabia (83rd).
