After hours of negotiation, the PGA Tour announced that the WGC Mexico Championship, that brought to Mexico the best 70 best exponents of international golf, will not be held in Mexico City.

The 2021 edition of the WGC-Mexico Championship will be played at The Concession Golf Club in Southwest Florida.
