The Cleveland Indians have no interest in negotiating a trade for José Ramírez, according to a report by journalist Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

In recent days, several teams have shown intention to make a trade offer for the stellar Dominican player, but apparently the Indians do not plan to get out of their best hitter, after the departure of Francisco Lindor.

Ramírez has a one-year contract and two options that would keep him in Cleveland until 2023.

The 28-year-old is coming off a stellar performance that placed him among the AL MVP candidates. Recorded offensive line of. 292 / .386 / .607 with 17 home runs and 46 RBIs. I also add 10 stolen bases.
