Jannik Sinner shot, all-Italian final in Melbourne

Sinner imposed himself on the number 20 in the world after a very complicated match, in which he managed to save well 12 palle break e cancel a match point of the Russian with a veteran coldness: thanks to this victory the 19 year old South Tyrolean is now number 34 of the world, also bypassing Lorenzo Sonego. For him it is the second ATP final in his career after victory in Prague in 2020.

Applause also to Travaglia, who at 29 won his first final in the major circuit by clearly beating the Brazilian 6-3, 6-4 Thiago Monteiro, number 83 of the ranking. Thanks to this victory he will rise to number 60 in the world ranking, establishing his record.
