The 2020 sporting year for the U13 Women of Basket Comminges Salies-du-Salat was an exceptional year. Indeed, over two seasons, the young ladies of Comminges will first finish in 1st place in their group in the Departmental Championship. A feat that will offer them a place in “Region 2 brewing” for the 2020/2021 financial year. Another great performance during these qualifiers since the youngest of the BCSS will get a ticket for the Ligue Occitanie D2.
2019/2020… After having lined up six straight victories, the young Salisiennes begin in January 2020 with a home success against St-Girons Basketball (65-26) even if, that day, the victory will be long in coming. . BC Salies-du-Salat will end its regular phase of the championship with two indisputable successes against Carla-Bayle (89-5) and Points de Rivière (81-8).
Accession at regional level
First in their departmental group, the players of Salies-du-Salat saw themselves projected towards the qualifying rounds in the Regional League.
They won in the first round largely against JS Cugnaux, then in the second, against Tarbes Gespe Bigorre with a small point in advance in the money-time (38-37).
In the 3rd round, the BCSS played away for the first time; In Ariège on the grounds of the Poppy Lézat / Lèze. Another great duel punctuated by a third victory, still 1 small point (34-33).
The defeat in the fourth round in Hautes-Pyrénées in the hall of the formidable UA Laloubère (39-76) did not change the fate of the young commingeoises who qualified brilliantly for the regional level.
