The Playoffs – Miami Dolphins troca OG Ereck Flowers com o Washington Football Team

The Miami Dolphins announced on Tuesday (27) the exchange of offensive guard Ereck Flowers with the Washington Football Team. According to Ian Rapoport, of the NFL Network, the move will yield the Dolphins exchanges for the last picks of the Draft.

Flowers acted in Washington in the 2019 season before signing with Miami for three seasons, worth $ 30 million, at the free agency. He started 14 games for the Dolphins.

According to agent Drew Rosenhaus, to make the exchange official with the WFT, the OG restructured his contract, under which the Dolphins will pay $ 6 million in signing bonuses and Washington will pay a base salary of $ 3 million, giving the player $ 9 million fully guaranteed this year. Thus, the Florida franchise will save $ 8 million in its salary cap.

“I am very excited and looking forward to going back there because I love the offensive line and I have also had a good relationship with (offensive line) coach John Matsko. This is the best for me, ”Flowers told reporter Josina Anderson of the NFL Network.

Flowers established himself as a left guard in Washington after joining the league as a tackle. After being drafted by the New York Giants in 2015, Flowers played for the Jacksonville Jaguars before his first pass in the WFT.

Miami now has three of its four most valuable signings of the 2020 season, as it released linebacker Kyle Van Noy and exchanged the defensive end Shaq Lawson with the Houston Texans.
