Under the sun of Turbigo (MI) a day to remember for the Bosco delle Querce team. On Sunday 06 June the athletes of the Bosco delle Querce Archers took part in the Olympic Arch Regional Championship, obtaining a loot of 9 medals.
An excellent result for the club that trains in Copreno, in the municipality of Lentate sul Seveso and which is making many promising young players grow in the archery field.
The youngest begin in the morning with the 36-arrow qualifying race that determines the Regional Class Champion and the grids of individual clashes that sanction the Absolute Champions.
In the boys’ class William Sioli wins the bronze medal in qualifying and wins the gold in the clashes and then the Absolute title, winning the first clash by 6 to 0, the second by 6 to 5 at the playoff arrow, making 10 against the 9th of the titled opponent / friend recently called up in the youth national team and in the regional representative for the Regions’ Cup to be held in Asti next weekend, finally dominating in the final with a dry 6 to 0.
In the female boys’ class the qualification sees Sabrina Sala on the third step of the podium with her personal best, Martina Spinelli in fourth place, she also achieves her record, Michela Parinetti in ninth and Greta Ormenese in eleventh. The scores obtained by Sabrina, Martina and Michela give the team the gold medal and the title of Champion. In the head-to-head matches Sabrina graduated as absolute champion by winning the first two fights 6-0 and 6-4.
In the final Sabrina has to deal with a very young emerging Lombard talent who will represent Lombardy in the girls ‘class always at the Regions’ Cup and who in the semifinal eliminated Martina in the play-off arrow.
But Sabrina is not impressed and hurries the practice with a peremptory 6-0.
In the final for the bronze Martina takes the lowest step of the podium by winning 6-0.
In the pupils Beatrice Prandini, belonging for some years to the national youth groups, dominates the race, closing it in first place with an excellent score that is worth her seasonal record and winning all the direct matches for 6-0, 6-0, 7-1. For her, therefore, the title of class and absolute champion.
In the afternoon, junior and senior take the shooting line. Luca Bergamo and Emanuele Parinetti finished in seventh and ninth place respectively.
Beautiful result for Chiara Pavone: for her in the junior women comes the bronze medal and the possibility of accessing the Absolutes, where she comes out in the quarter-finals.
In the men’s senior fourteenth place for Massimo Prandini, twenty-ninth for Federico Moretti and thirtieth for Paolo Parinetti. The three athletes finish eighth as a team.
Once again the competitive results of Bosco delle Querce stand out, but above all the boys stand out for the team spirit that pushes every athlete to give the best for themselves and for the team, to support their teammates and to enhance the true values of sport. .
Next appointment on Sunday 13 June in Asti with the Regions Cup which will see Gaia Rota (senior female) on the shooting line defending the colors of Lombardy, among others, representing the Bosco delle Querce Archers.
