Renfe It will be ‘Official Rail Transport’ of the Spanish men’s and women’s football and basketball teams, following the collaboration agreements signed with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB).
In this way, Renfe reaffirms its commitment to promoting and supporting Spanish sport, facilitating transport on High Speed and Long Distance trains. throughout the national territory, to the members of the soccer and basketball teams.
Through the agreement signed with the RFEF, Renfe acquires the status of official collaborator of the absolute national male and female soccer teams, becoming ‘Official Rail Transport’ of the Spanish team for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons.
Likewise, the operator may display dynamic advertising animations related to Renfe, on the playing fields of the football stadiums where the matches played by the national teams that are organized by the RFEF in Spain are held.
For its part, the collaboration agreement signed with the Spanish Basketball Federation, which is valid until December 31, 2022, grants Renfe the status of official supplier for rail transport for the FEB and the national basketball teams, male and female, in any of their categories.
Likewise, the operator has the right to make advertising inserts in all televised matches of the senior men’s and women’s basketball teams, which are played in Spain and are organized by the FEB. These promotional rights include the Eurobasket 2021 matches that the Spanish women’s team will play in Valencia between the next 17 and 27 June.

The objective is to promote the use of the railroad as a sustainable means of transport, among high-level athletes to participate in sports competitions in the national territory, within the framework of the ‘The Spanish Sports Train’ program.
