Malen arrived by bike on Tuesday morning at Borussia Dortmund’s training camp in Bad Ragaz (Switzerland). At 10:26 a.m., the Dutchman from PSV Eindhoven stood on the Ri-Au sports facility for the first time and trained with his new colleagues.
The multi-million dollar deal has been waiting to be announced for days. However, he is likely to have completed the medical check just as successfully as the mandatory corona tests that he had to complete before taking part in the team training.
The framework data for the transfer have been clarified between PSV and BVB. Accordingly, Dortmund should pay a transfer fee of almost 30 million euros for painting. The 13-time national player is expected to sign a five-year contract.
“Official training permit” from PSV is available
Shortly after the start of training, BVB tweeted that they had an “official training permit” from PSV. There are still final details to be clarified between the player and PSV, only when this has happened can Dortmund report the deal as completed.
