Millionaire salaries are paid in the Major Leagues, sums that reach floors higher than the general average in the United States. Although in itself the players enter a space reserved for few, there is within it a more exclusive one: that of the pitchers.
These are the ones that together account for most of the money that MLB teams pay.
For the 2021 campaign, the general total of salaries paid to pitchers amounts to just over 1,915 million dollars, according to the specialized website Spotrac.

Not uncommon, however, it is the shooters who accumulate the highest dollar amount that major organizations pay their employees on the ground. This is so because for this year there are 756 pitchers on a roster of 40.
With an average of 2.53 million dollars in salaries for this season, pitchers are a contingent in which the great millionaires stand out over the players with medium incomes.
