Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium — Wikipédia

the Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, also known as the Dodd Stadium, is an American sports stadium (mainly used for baseball) located in the city of Norwich, Connecticut.

The 6,270-seat stadium, inaugurated in 1995, serves as a home stadium for the Connecticut Huskies varsity team[2],[3] (for baseball), as well as the Norwich Sea Unicorns.

The stadium is named after Thomas J. Dodd, lawyer, diplomat and former senator from Connecticut.

The first stone of the stadium is laid on November 3, 1994. After almost six months of construction, the stadium, sunk into the surrounding soil so that all fans can enter at street level and descend directly to their seats, is inaugurated on 13 avril 1995.

From 2002 to 2004, the stadium hosted the baseball tournament Atlantic 10 Conference[4].
