Successful closing of Michoacan skaters in JN 21

MORELIA, Mich., July 15, 2021.- A closing of gold and silver had the Michoacan delegation of roller skates in the Conade 2021 National Games, a competition in which it contributed a total of 18 metals, to consolidate itself as one of the best in the country.

Naim Bucio and Jorge Ruiz were in charge of giving the entity this great closure, with 1-2 in one of the most demanding tests of this discipline, the Marathon.

The activity returned to the asphalt of the Niños Héroes High Performance Center (Care) in Monterrey, Nuevo León, where the Purépecha delegation faced this strenuous long-distance test.

Naim Bucio Martínez closed with a flourish his participation in his first performance in this great fair in which he added 4 gold metals.

The Michoacan said goodbye with the maximum metal in the 12-kilometer Marathon test, within the Junior Youth category, crossing the finish line in 20 minutes, 54 seconds and 888 hundredths. Nuevo León and Quintana Roo followed.

For his part, Jorge Ruiz finished with a silver medal in the 21-kilometer Marathon, Junior category, where he timed 37 minutes, 44 seconds and 664 hundredths. The highest laurels went to Nuevo León and bronze to Aguascalientes.

With these results, the Michoacán skating closed with 18 metals: 8 golds, 8 silvers and 2 bronzes.

At the moment, Michoacán already has 72 medals, of which 18 are first place, 28 second and 26 third.

There are still four disciplines to see action in this maximum competition, so Michoacán will have the possibility of continuing with the addition of medals and surpassing the 74 medals obtained in the 2019 Olympiad.

Beach volleyball gets ready to see action from July 21 to 25 in Colima, while badminton will do the same in Aguascalientes, from August 1 to 10.

The last disciplines scheduled for our state will be basketball in Oaxtepec, from August 23 to 29, as well as chess, which will take place in Los Pinos, Mexico City, from August 30 to September 4.
