Greece: Ruben Semedo accused of rape of a minor

Olympiakos defender Ruben Semedo was arrested Sunday by Greek police after a 17-year-old girl accused him of rape, a judicial source learned on Monday. The 27-year-old Portuguese was brought before an Athens prosecutor on Monday.

The teenager said Semedo lured her into his home before raping her, along with a still wanted 40-year-old foreign national. The player reportedly met the girl at a bar in the seaside town of Oropos on Saturday and then drove her to her home in Glyfalda, on the outskirts of Athens, where she said she was raped.
