Quindian athletes had an outstanding performance during the BMX and Badminton nationals that took place in Barranquilla and the municipality of La Tebaida, respectively.
The Quindian delegation in bicicrós achieved 6 medals in the fourth and fifth valid of the BMX national with 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.

Sofía Ávila, won gold in the valid fifth and bronze in the fourth of the 13-year category. In men Juan Pablo Mejía Pico, achieved gold in the fourth valid and bronze in the fifth in the category of 7 and 8 years experts

Quindío stood out in National Badminton in La Tebaida
Quindianos athletes Nicolás Morales and Dahiana Giraldo won gold in the U-17 doubles of the National Badminton while Sergio Zapata and Daniela Pescador obtained the silver medal.
In the individual sub-17 category, Sergio Zapata and Nicolás Morales achieved gold and silver respectively after the final played by the athletes. In ladies, Dahiana Giraldo, reached the silver medal below Laura Galeano, representative of Cundinamarca.

In doubles sub-15, the quindianos Jerónimo Arango and Mónica Gutiérrez, were third, preceded by Sebastián Tabares and Juliana Castaño, from Risaralda, who obtained the gold; and Sebastián Arévalo and Sofía Parra, from Cundinamarca, who won the silver.
In general, the balance of the coffee-growing athletes led by professors Hugo Morales and Jhon Jaime Zapata was very positive.
The event was held in the municipality of La Tebaida in which 86 athletes from different leagues of the country participated, who played the second national zone in the junior category.
