Power forward Leia Dongue is already a new player for Kutxabank Araski for the 2021/22 season. The club thus bets on the experience in painting with a contrasted and high-performance player already demonstrated in the League.
Dongue came to Spanish basketball in March 2016, when he signed for Al-Qázeres. Coincidentally, her debut was in Mendizorrotza, a couple of months before the promotion to the Endesa Women’s League was achieved by both the women from Cáceres and those from Alava. Later, he has also played in Gernika, Girona and Campus Promete. In the Catalan club, she was proclaimed league champion and runner-up in the Queen’s Cup, in a few months she shared a dressing room with her next teammate Bea Sánchez.
In addition to these experiences in Spain, he has played on August 1 in Angola (2016/17), Cegled hungaró (2018/19) and in French Nantes this last year where he has averaged 13.3 points and 6.1 rebounds.
