Israel has won several medals at the Olympic Games in rhythmic and sports gymnastics, in judo. Linoy Ashram won a gold medal.

With 89 athletes, Israel is represented by the largest delegation in its history to these Games. This high figure can be explained, among other things, by the 24 members of the first Israeli Olympic baseball team.
