Mauricio Llovera won his first game of the year

Creole reliever Mauricio Llovera added his first win of the season in a tight 7-6 score between the Phillies and Nationals.

The El Tigre-born came out for the third time this season in the eighth inning with the game down 5-3 and covered an inning of labor without any damage.

Llovera made his debut in 2020 and this year he is looking for a fixed place in the Philadelphia bullpen. So far he has participated in three games and has a 2.25 ERA.

José Alvarado, also a Creole pitcher, was on the mound one inning earlier and allowed three hits and a walk in an entire chapter.

The Creoles Ronald Torreyes and Odúbel Herrera also made their contribution for the victory.

Shortstop opened the game at the top of the second inning with a single by center for Rhys Hoskins to score.

While the outfielder hit the top of the seventh from left to get Alec Bohm to the register.

The underdog of the compromise was Kyle Finnegan, allowing three hits and four runs in one episode.
