All Tokyo Olympics 2021 Italian athletics makes history, today 1 August 2021 two of our athletes won the gold medal within a few minutes of each other.

Tokyo Olympics, 2 golds in a few minutes for Italy
Two gold medals, brought home within ten minutes, were the winners Marcell Jacobs in the final of the 100 meters in 9 ”80, a new European record while Gianmarco Tamberi is gold ex aequo in the high jump with the Qatari Barshim.
Sara Fantini, is classified in the women’s hammer final
A great day for our Azzurra delegation which also sees Sara Fantini, 23 years old from Fidenza, qualify for the women’s hammer final with the measure of 71.68 which earned her 12 / o place overall and therefore admission to the challenge in which the best will play the medals.
