Ex-chef reveals Ronaldo’s nutritional secrets – football

Cristiano Ronaldo is already 36 years old, but still in top shape. He recently demonstrated that in a team dress. Thanks to a strict nutrition plan.

On September 1st, Cristiano Ronaldo reached another milestone in his career, setting a world record with his 111th team goal. The now 36-year-old headed Portugal with two goals to a 2-1 win over Ireland.

After his second goal in the 96th minute, Ronaldo tore the Portuguese team jersey from his body, cheered exuberantly, and presented his steeled upper body. It became clear: Ronaldo is in top shape even at an advanced age. So it is not surprising that the five-time world footballer declared before his comeback at Manchester United that he wanted to play for the “Red Devils” for another three to four years.

Ronaldo’s nutrition plan

Ronaldo’s muscular torso is of course the result of hard work. And a strict nutrition plan that Giorgio Barone, Ronaldo’s private chef at Juventus Turin, has now published in the “Mirror”. “I use healthy foods, organic and natural – fish, chicken, veal, eggs, avocado, coconut oil and black rice. You have to take care of your body as much as you take care of a Ferrari,” said Chef Barone. That’s why Ronaldo drinks a lot of water and has dinner especially early.

Ronaldo almost completely dispenses with sugar and white flour; instead, he serves salads, lean meat, lots of fish and whole grain products. If fat is used, then only coconut oil, the cook explained.

Barone also named a number of Ronaldo’s favorite dishes: pork, sea bass, cod with potatoes and an egg dish, and steak with salad. And on Cheat Day there is often pizza. After that, however, Ronaldo also does sit-ups.
