The match in Parma will remain, however it ends, the fulfillment of an important season for the Macerata club, the culmination of a summer that saw the club as protagonist in organizing the perfectly successful European Under 18 baseball championship in the city despite the obstacles that the covid pandemic has brought to the development of the event. Remaining in the context of the hustle and bustle of the city, we should remember the excellent championship played by Lorenzo Morresi from Macerata, who came out of the Hotsand nursery, with the San Marino shirt and his new adventure started a few weeks ago in the United States, an experience that he will do in a college in New Mexico, where an exciting season of American baseball has begun for him. A Macerata, fruit of the local nursery, which has flown to the United States, is not something every day, of all societies and above all it is not something for everyone. The scholarship obtained will allow him to continue his training as a player at New Mexico Junior College. He will attend the same college of major league pitchers as Ken Giles and Nick Pivetta and will play for the Thunderbirds in Division I of the National Junior College Athletic Association (Njcaa).
