Manny Machado vented his frustration at the expense of fellow San Diego Padres star Fernando Taits Jr. on Saturday.
Machado was seen screaming and arguing with his young teammate in the fifth inning of the game in front of the St. Louis Cardinals. The Padres ultimately lost this match by a score of 3-2.
According to what reported ESPN, Machado would have shouted at Tatis junior: “it’s not about you”, and “you go out and you are going to play baseball”.
The altercation came after a strikeout by Tatis in the fifth. The latter got angry with official Phil Cuzzi and manager Jayce Tingler was subsequently expelled for arguing.
